Summary:
As a CRNA at our facility, you will play a crucial role in providing top-tier anesthesia care across all age groups—from infants to geriatrics—ensuring safe and effective anesthesia administration at all levels of acuity.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia in line with established protocols and standards of care set forth by AANA and the AMA, as well as the directives from the Medical Director of Anesthesia.
Engage actively in pre-op and post-op assessments, closely monitoring patient status and maintaining meticulous documentation.
Uphold the highest standards of emergency preparedness, including managing emergency airway situations.
Minimum Qualifications:
RN license in Alabama
Current certification from the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists
BCLS Certification
Proven ability to communicate effectively in emergency situations
Preferred Qualifications:
ACLS Certification
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in maintaining pediatric case requirements, emergency airway skills, and annual BCLS and ACLS certifications.
Familiarity with anesthesia equipment and adherence to facility policies and procedures. Maintain certifications with anesthesia equipment, including One Touch, Hemachron, TB fit testing.
