Job description

Position Details:

Start Date: November 1, 2024
End Date: January 31, 2025 (with the option to extend)
Coverage Type: Scheduled + On Call
Shifts per Week: 5 shifts, each 10 hours (0700 – 1700)
Work Environment:

Support Staff: 20 Registered Nurses (RNs), 4 Office Staff
Patients per Shift: Approximately 25
Patient Population/Age: Adult
Department: Anesthesiology
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Cerner
Beds in Department: 4 Operating Rooms (OR)
Skills Required:

General Anesthesia
Spinal Anesthesia
Epidural Anesthesia
Regional Anesthesia
Neurosurgical Cases (Spine)
Complex Vascular Cases (except open heart)
Complex Orthopedic Cases
Pain Management Techniques
Post-op Epidural
Post-op Extremity Blocks
Ventilation Management
Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume/BP Issues
Central Line Placement
Arterial Line Placement
PA Catheter Placement
CRNA Supervision
Practice Setting:

Inpatient
Requirements:

Board Certification: Required, CRNA
State License: Required, State of Arizona
Certifications: BLS & ACLS
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days.
