Job description

Position Details:

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months
Shift Details/Schedule: 8 and 10-hour shifts; client highly prefers 8-hour shifts
Day Shifts: 7 AM - 3 PM
Night Shifts: 7 PM - 7 AM (2-3 shifts per week)
Work Environment:

Support Staff: 6 MDs and APP support. Supervised setting with a ratio of 4 anesthetists to 1 MD.
Coverage Needed per Month: Full-time (40 hours per week), floating between two hospitals 7 minutes apart. Part-time (minimum of 2 days a week) will be considered but must cover cardiac (hearts) for day shifts only. Night shifts do not require hearts but it is preferred.
Average Cases per Week: 60
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Epic
Hospital Bed Size: 310 and 103
Special Procedures: Required to cover all aspects of anesthesia including EP, vascular, neuro, ortho, urology, bariatrics, robotics, GI, spinal, OB, GYN, etc.

Requirements:
State License: No specific state license required; client is open to compact licensure
Minimum Experience: 1 year
Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days
