A community hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.

About the clinician's workday

This position is for additional coverage with a schedule of every other week, Sunday 7:00 PM through Friday 7:00 AM, including nightly call beginning Sunday evening. Cases typically start at 8:00 AM Monday through Friday, with most Fridays having no cases or only one. A guaranteed 8 hours per day is provided, with a 25-minute response time for beeper call. Cases include general surgery, eyes, and orthopedic procedures, with a focus on regional block proficiency for orthopedic cases. Other cases involve hernias, biopsies, mass excisions, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, colectomies, and foreign body removals.
