Hospital Type: Large teaching hospital

Capacity: 600+ beds

Anesthesia Department:
30 anesthesiologists
70 CRNAs
40 anesthesia techs

Practice Model: Care team model (medical direction) in an academic atmosphere
Specialties: 25 subspecialties including General, Ortho, Neuro, EP, Vascular, Thoracic, Cardiac (open heart), Bariatrics, Endoscopy, OB, Ophthalmology, and limited Pediatrics
EMR System: EPIC

Work Details:
Shift Flexibility: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
Weekly Hours: Must work 40 hours/week
Reason for Need: New NAPA site
Supervision Ratio: 3:1
Case Restrictions: Locums will not do open heart cases

Requirements:
License: Must be NC licensed (licensing possible for an excellent candidate)
Experience: 2 years required

Credentialing Time: 30 days
